Bittern - Botaurus Stellaris

A surprise capture from the Grisedale Hide at Leighton Moss. The Bittern had been spotted about half an hour earlier but had disappeared. He kindly obliged in having a picture taken by flying almost straight past me. Fortunately, I was ready.
